Well I have resisted from participating in Facebook for quite some time now. We have had lots of people ask from time to time and I have now been told “Resistance is futile” (That’s from Star Trek if you didn’t get it.)

So we are officially on Facebook as of today. Not much there yet but we hope it will be a place to post dog and puppy pictures. We also plan to put up hunt pics and video too. It will also be a place to share your hunting dog experiences, pics and videos.

So take a minute and like and friend us!

Lady Josephine

Today we are saddened by the loss of our friend and companion. Josie was much more than a dog. She was a member of our family and she brought so much joy to our lives. We have so many memories of her. She spent her last night in bed with Megan and her last breath was with the smell of a bird in her mouth.

We know she will be hunting forever with some of our other friends.

She was a true hunter through and through and we will forever miss her.

Rest in peace sweet girl!

Scott and Lori get hitched!

It was a beautiful morning in Lewiston Idaho on the 16^th of July. Friends and family gathered on the deck of their mountain home for the ceremony. Everything was casual, comfortable and a lot of fun.

Following the ceremony were cake and refreshments and then it was up river where the 3 day party was to begin

Mother Nature had a little show of her own for us on the 4^th. Tornado warnings, thunder, lightning, 50 mph wind and quarter size hail. (The spots in the pic are hail balls caught in the flash)

Day 41 and Counting!

Its day 41 in Lacey’s pregnancy! She has moved from the kennel up to the house and the whelping center. Just a little over 20 days left until we will have puppies again! Can’t wait.

Lacey has not wasted any time making herself at home. She is spending most of her time taking it easy and laying around. Just what the doctor ordered.

RVK – Box T Cowboy Partnership!

Range View Kennels, Box t Cowboys & the Chico Basin Ranch have teamed up to provide our customers and theirs opportunities for GREAT guided hunts.

The partnership will allow all the Box T customers a chance to have a guided hunt with Upland Outfitters and the RVK dogs and our customers to be able to hunt 87,000 acres. Yep! That’s not a typo.

We will also have better pricing on birds. This will translate to less expensive hunts and a reduction in bird cost for training.

The 2010 – 2011 seasons will run from September to April.

We’re looking forward to a relationship that will benefit everyone. See you in the field!

New Look For RVK!

Range View Kennels has a new look! With the help of Jon at Blue Fish Web Services we have upgraded to the new site!

If you know me at all, you know how much I hate the whole web site and HTML thing and that I would much rather spend my time doing something else.

The new site will allow just that. It will be fast and easy to update the site and keep you more informed about what’s Happening at RVK.

Check it out and let us know what you think and if there is something else you would like to see here. After all, the site is for you!
