Crock Pot Game Bird

INGREDIENTS:

 

  • 2 or 3 pheasants or Grouse (Depending on size) cut and quartered
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cans of water
  • 1 can chicken gravy
  • sautéed mushrooms and onions if desired
  • 1 box stove top stuffing
  • milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

 

Preparation:

First in a skillet brown the game bird in a little olive oil and then add to crock pot. In pan drippings sauté onions and mushrooms. Add the mushroom soup, water and chicken gravy to the crock pot and stir. If the mixture seems dry add a little milk. Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours. Last 30 minutes add the stuffing mix
