We’re off to Idaho. First stop is Boise. We’ll visit some family and hang there for a few days. A stop at Cabala’s, Boise is always a must for me. I will most likely make my way over to Sportsman’s Warehouse too!  Then it’s off to Lewiston. Our friends Scott and Lori are getting married and then it’s down to the Snake River for 3 days of camping and fishing. We will be staying with our friends, Captain Kev and Pam this trip! We’re looking forward to a fun time and meeting up with all the RVK dogs that are now living in Lewiston. 

On the way back we will stop in Utah to see our friend Jon from Gundogbreeders.com to pick up some training pigeons.

This is Ruby and Canyon. Both are Rio puppies from different litters. Ruby is a sister of Breeze and Canyon is from a litter with Timber. They are looking to be a formidable bird hunting team. They own the Kempster’s in Lewiston Idaho.

Today we went out to the Chico Basin Ranch and guided a hunt for the Box T Cowboys. It was a nice 40 degree day and the quail were flying. Rio, Josie, Willow and Murphy did a great job putting up the birds. Each of them had their time to shine. They worked hard and at the end of the morning 16 quail were shot.    We came home, hosed off the mud and they were so tired they all crashed taking a well deserved nap.
